Baked Kale Chips

Makes About 6 Servings

1 Bunch curly kale
1 Tsp. organic extra virgin olive oil
1 (.08-oz.) packet Guacamole Dip Mix or 2 ½ tsp. Ranch Dressing Mix


Preheat oven to 300ºF, Rinse kale and pat dry. Tear into 2-inch pieces, discarding tough stems. (You should have 8 cups lightly packed kale.) Place in a large bowl and toss with several paper towels to remove all excess moisture. Drizzle with oil and toss again to coat. Sprinkle with seasoning and toss again to coat as evenly as possible. Spread in a single layer on 1 or 2 baking sheets. Cook for 30 to 40 minutes, stirring once or twice. When done, kale will be very lightly browned and crisp. Let cool and store in an airtight container.
