Classic Salads, LLC was born as a result of more than twenty years of innovative, forward thinking and keen insight into industry trends, to become one of the fastest growing companies in the industry.
 
1983: Lance Batistich Farms began growing produce in Watsonville, California.
1988: Lance Batistich Farms became Classic Farms and moved to Salinas, California to eventually grow a variety of fruits and vegetables on over 2,500 acres.
1997: Successful growing of spring mix and baby spinach led to the creation of Classic Baby Vegetables (CBV) to meet the high demand for these products.
2000: Classic Salads, LLC was formed to process spring mix and baby spinach year-round.
2003:

Classic Salads, LLC launched its retail line of spring mix and expanded its product line.

2004: Classic Salads, LLC began offering baby gourmet specialty items and an impressive array of fresh-cut fruits and vegetables to foodservice and retail customers.
